DAEMONS RING GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT

1) HACKING.
Hacking, in a general sense, involves both criminal and game hacking.
Criminal hacking is related to internet crimes like distributed denial of service (DDoS), privacy violation and identity theft, illegal remote system access, economical fraud,
destruction of virtual property, etc..; in those cases, the user will be immediately banned, reported to the authorities and will never return - no exceptions.
Game hacking involves using 3rd party programs such as hacking tools, cheat engines, injectors, trainers, or anything similar. Game hacking can also include abusing any kind of exploits and/or bugs which can be used in order to obtain an unfair advantage in-game.
First Offense - 2 Week ban.
Second Offense - Permanent ban.
2) HARASSMENT, PROVOKING, AND DISRESPECTING OTHER MEMBERS.
We do not tolerate any form of harassment that might make one of our users feel uncomfortable or insulted and which possibly can make the user leave our Network. This involves any kind of constant disrespectful, provocative, and/or aggressive behavior towards another user. With freedom of speech comes responsibility, a person's freedom ends when another person's freedom begins, and at Daemons Ring we believe that everyone should be treated equally.
First Offense - Warning/Infraction
Second Offense - 3 Day ban.
Third Offense - 1 Week ban.
Fourth Offense - 2 Week ban.
Fifth Offense - Permanent ban.
2.1)
Here in the Daemons Ring Gaming Network, we strive to achieve the best social gaming environment for all our members. Therefore, if one of our members is seen elsewhere disrespecting our Network or trying to cause any problems that might bring harm to our Network, we will take action. People need to be consistent and coherent, it is not correct for one of our members to be offending us somewhere else and then acting normally within our community, it is incorrect and we will not tolerate these actions.
3) DISCRIMINATION AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT.
While these are both forms of harassment, this was made a separate rule because it is considered extreme harassment, and also due to the fact that there's a need to settle a distinction between just a casual joke and using words in a friendly manner or using these words to offend other users. Saying something along the lines of "hey nigga how are you?" or "hey baby you looking horny" for example, is completely different from situations that do not need an example, which is using words considered racial/ethnic slurs along with other insults or sexual expressions in order to diminish, humiliate or disrespect another user. In these cases, the intention of the offender will dictate the need for according punishment.
First Offense - 3 Day ban.
Second Offense - 1 Week ban.
Third Offense - Permanent ban.
4) PORNOGRAPHY, BLATANT GORE, EXTREMELY GROSS/DISGUSTING AND EXPLICIT MATERIAL.
There are children and sensitive people who live among our community, we do not tolerate posting of any kind of pornography, blatant gore, extremely gross, disgusting or explicit content. These are all considered adult content with viewer discretion advised, and they are not allowed in our forums except in situations where a clearly visible warning is given and the content manages to stay hidden with, for example, a spoiler tag. Staff does however reserve the right to delete such content at their discretion.
First Offense - 3 Day ban.
Second Offense - 1 Month ban.
Third Offense - Permanent ban.
4.1) Posting child pornography on our forums will have the same punishment as criminal hacking, the user will be permanently banned from our Network and reported to the authorities, and also, there will be no exceptions, we do not tolerate any type of criminal activity.
5) SPAMMING.
Spamming is not allowed in our Network, and by 'spam' we mean repetitive words or posts with no useful content meant to annoy other users; it includes stacking of
multiple Unicode combining characters, posting YouTube videos that start automatically, saying only 'inb4' anything, or expressions/posts with just: "first", "second", "tl;dr", '.', '10char'; and other known expressions considered futile.
This rule is not meant to discourage off-topic conversations, as it only applies outside that area.
First Offense - Infraction/Warning.
Second Offense - 3 Day ban.
Third Offense - 2 Week ban.
Fourth Offense - 1 Month ban.
Firth Offense - Permanent ban.
5.1) Not included in the spamming rule, are posts in which a user quotes another user to answer a question or statement from another user, and since posts cannot be made with just quotes, but they actually need text, it's acceptable that the user uses just a "." or a "^" indicating that the quoted post already answered whatever matter being discussed.
6) ADVERTISEMENT.
Please do not advertise other private servers or gaming networks. Everyone is free to discuss other communities and servers, but only to an extent in which the user is not attracting our players into the referred places. This rule also includes every kind of commercial advertisements, referral links, surveys, and external links to another private server communities.
First Offense - Warning.
Second Offense - 3 Day ban.
Third Offense - 2 Week ban.
Fourth Offense - Permanent ban.
7) DISOBEYING OR DISRESPECTING STAFF.
The Daemons Ring staff team members have the responsibility of keeping the peace and order in our Network, making sure that our members are satisfied with our work while always working hard in order to make our Network grow, progress, and expand. Therefore, when a staff gives a command based on our rules, a player must cease his rule breaking behavior or further measures will be taken, and no lack of respect or provocation towards a staff member will be tolerated. This should already covered in the general harassment rule, but due to several previous situations, a separate rule needed to be written.
First Offense - Warning/Infraction
Second Offense - 3 Day ban.
Third Offense - 1 Week ban.
Fourth Offense - 2 Week ban.
Firth Offense - Permanent ban.
7.1)
If there is any situation of a staff member abusing powers or breaking our rules, please take a screenshot or record the situation and contact our administrative team in order to file a complaint or just make an abuse report on the forums, but if that complaint does not have evidence and if it is fake, then the above punishment will be applied.
8) IMPERSONATING STAFF.
As described in the previous rule, our staff team already has their hands full while fulfilling their tasks, so no staff impersonation will be allowed. This consists of making
another user believe that you are a staff member, either by conversation, by using names like Game Master, Administrator, Developer, GM, Admin, Dev or by using any name that can resemble a staff member in order to deceive that user into several possible unfortunate situations.
First Offense - Warning/Immediate name change or account deletion.
Second Offense - 2 Week ban.
Third Offense - Permanent ban.
9) BAN EVADING.
Ban evading occurs when a previously banned user creates another account in our Network precisely to evade that ban, this is not allowed on our Network, we have rules to ensure our well functioning and harmonious social environment, so when a user is banned, that user will stay banned until the ban period expires.
However, in cases of account deletion and past offenses, we allow users to create new accounts for the sole purpose of making an unban request. If the user creates the account and makes the unban request, ban evading will be ignored, but if the user begins normal and regular activity on the forums, it will be considered ban evading and in this situation the unban chance will be permanently lost.
First Offense - IP ban + Original ban extended by 2 weeks
Second Offense - IP ban + Permanent ban
9.1)
Regarding multiple accounts, when a user has up to two or three accounts for privacy and/or entertainment reasons it's perfectly acceptable, but when a user creates
several accounts in order to gain any kind of advantage by deceiving other users, like for example, creating several accounts just to speak generously about himself, grant himself reputation points or to harass other members, then the fake accounts will be deleted and the user will be subject to the other penalties if other rules are broken in this process.

1) REPOSTING CLOSED TOPICS OR REOPENING SOLVES ISSUES.
When a staff member closes a thread, it can be for several reasons: the discussion reached a conclusion; the topic caused community problems; or because the thread broke our rules of conduct. When a topic, matter, or thread is declared closed and solved, it is supposed to stay that way to avoid further issues, so if someone decides to bring back that same subject or matter, the user will be dealt with accordingly.
First Offense - Warning/Infraction.
Second Offense - 3 Day ban.
Third Offense - 1 Week ban.
Fourth Offense and following - 1 month ban.
2) POSTING ON UNBAN/ABUSE/HELP AND SUPPORT SECTION THREADS.
Unban requests, abuse reports and help requests are very serious threads which dictate the well functioning of our Network. These threads or topics are made with the sole purpose of solving serious matters, and we do not allow any kind of interference in them unless it includes something extremely important to add or if the user is directly involved in the situation.
First Offense - Warning/Infraction.
Second Offense - 3 Day ban.
Third Offense - 2 Week ban.
Fourth Offense and following - 1 month ban.
3) POSTING IN THE WRONG SECTION.
Our forums have several varied sections, each section is either general or destined for specific matters, in the general areas feel free to discuss whatever matters you wish, however, in specific areas meant to discuss certain matters, we reserve the right to keep our forums coherent and organized, so we will take action when a user starts
posting about something completely irrelevant to the matter being discussed.
If any user has any doubt about this matter, please leave a note in the thread informing the staff team or asking us to move the thread to the corresponding section.
First Offense - Warning.
Second Offense - Infraction.
Third Offense - 1 Day ban.
Fourth Offense - 3 day ban.
Fifth Offense and following - 1 week ban.
4) POSTING IN THE ANNOUNCEMENT SECTION/DOWNLOAD SECTION OF FORUMS.
The announcement and download sections of our forums are strictly to be controlled by the staff team. Users are free to post in the threads that are left open, however, a user is not allowed to create his own announcement or download thread because in these forum sections, as their name implies, we inform the community regarding
relevant Network matters, and we post our certified game releases. If a user wishes to have a topic on these sections or to make a release, the user first needs to contact the staff team.
First Offense - Warning/Infraction.
Second Offense - 3 Day ban.
Third Offense - 2 Week ban.
Fourth Offense and following - 1 month ban.
5) POSTING IN STAFF APPLICATION THREADS/BUMPING STAFF APPLICATION THREADS.
Staff application threads are not open for discussion, they serve for future reference when we need to recruit new staff members and they are for the staff to communicate with the applicant. Having other users posting on these topics would only lead into making our job harder so it is not allowed.
Also, the applicant is not allowed to "bump" his thread, which means making a post just to bring attention to the topic.
First Offense - Warning/Infraction.
Second Offense - 3 Day ban; if the original poster bumps their thread, the application will be trashed.
Third Offense - 1 Week ban; if the original poster bumps their thread, the application will be trashed.
Fourth Offense and following - 1 month ban.

1) SWAPPING.THESE RULES APPLY WITHIN OUR GAMES
Swapping occurs when 2 or more players agree to kill each other sequentially and without a real fight in order to rapidly earn EXP and level up faster, causing the player base and competitive spirit of the server to become unbalanced.
First Offense - Warning.
Second Offense - 3 Day ban + Level reset to 1.
Third Offense - 1 Week ban + Level reset to 1.
Fourth Offense and following - 1 month ban + Level reset to 1.
2) ILLEGAL GLITCHING.
This doesn't apply to K-Style or any other type of gameplay, it only applies to glitches that exist in GunZ and are abused to cause an unfair advantage of achieving EXP.
Glitches like using F12/Screenshot to avoid damage, kick evading (leaving room and rejoining to prevent being kicked), quest suiciding along with other quest glitches, and other existing glitches or exploits.
First Offense - Warning.
Second Offense - 1 Day ban and removal of 10 levels.
Third Offense - 2 Day ban and removal of 20 levels.
Fourth Offense - 1 week ban and removal of 30 levels.
Fifth Offense and the following - 2 weeks ban and reset to level 1.
3) SUICIDE ABUSE.
Suiciding in EXP rooms on purpose during a fight prevents other players from getting EXP. If this happens more than once then the player is disrupting the gameplay and action needs to be taken.
First Offense - Warning.
Second Offense - Removal of 10 levels.
Third Offense - Removal of 20 levels.
Fourth Offense - Removal of 30 levels.
Fifth Offense and the following - Reset to level 1.
4) EVENT DISRUPTION.
Players who try to ruin our staff held events will be punished for their acts. Staff make events out of generosity towards the community's entertainment, so whoever tries to disrupt, interrupt, or destroy our ingame events will be dealt with accordingly.
First Offense - Warning.
Second Offense - Removal from the event.
Third Offense - Removal from the event and 1 day ban.
Fourth Offense - 3 Day ban.
Fifth Offense and following - 1 Week ban.
4.1)
Depending on the severity of the user's actions, other punishments, such as the ones applied in harassment or hacking may be applied.
By registering a forums or ingame account on the Daemons Rebirth Gaming Network you agree and abide to all these rules and will be subject of punishment by the staff team upon breaking them.

1 - Keep in mind that the General Rules of Conduct affect the entire Network, which includes all our games, forums and communication methods.
2 - Warnings might be given or not under special circumstances, in which a direct ban can be issued depending of the severity of the situation.
3 - Ex-staff members of any kind will not be warned about any kind of rule breaking, as a former colleague you should already be familiarized enough with our rules of
conduct.
4 - In the rules that do not have a permanent ban as the final punishment, if the user abuses our benevolence and keeps breaking our rules after that final punishment has been applied, then we reserve the right to permanently ban the user.
