I have my desktop icons set up on hide, which I keep on the task bar by making a tool bar, which I keep on auto hide unless i hover my mouse to the far right.
My resolution is minimized so that some of you can see the full screen, I have a really big monitor and really high resolution.

Okay uhm... Right click on your task bar.. Then unselect autolock taskbar. Drag it to wherever you'd like to have it and drag the size to your liking. Now right click on your desktop and click VIEW : and unselect desktop icons. Now go back to the taskbar and right click and it should say toobar, select desktop and there you go.

Does doing that reduce your CPU usage or something or do you just like being able to see your desktop that clean?
Also, what anime is that? Looks like something I'd want to watch. Hope it isn't just art.

I have a 6 core processor, I have no idea, I highly doubt it. I just like seeing my wallpaper is all, as for the this it's an art. Haw Haw.

Changing your desktop's layout is way too mainstream. eff that, not taking the effort. ;]
